Most calculators work by averaging costs and injury categories. Real burn claims don’t behave that neatly. In Eustis (and across Florida), insurers tend to scrutinize:
- How severe the burn really was when it was first evaluated
- Whether treatment was timely and consistent
- Whether symptoms changed over time (which is common with burns)
- Whether the injury affected daily activities—not just the skin
So while a calculator can help you ask the right questions, it can’t replace the evidence that actually drives valuation: medical records, documentation of treatment and follow-ups, and proof of financial impact.
