Austin’s traffic patterns and density create situations where fault can be disputed and the record may be incomplete early on. A calculator can’t account for what investigators and adjusters actually focus on, such as:
- Whether the crash occurred at a high-speed corridor or during heavy commuting hours
- Driver distraction evidence (phone records, witness descriptions, vehicle data)
- Speed, lane position, braking data, and whether roadway design contributed
- Whether weather, lighting, or signal timing played a role
- Whether there were multiple vehicles, rideshare activity, or a trucking component
An AI tool may ask for age, income, and incident details—but it cannot verify whether those details are supported by reports, witness statements, or electronic data. In many cases, that verification is where settlement value rises or falls.
