Most AI tools work by asking you to input basic details (age, relationship, incident type, and some financial information) and then producing a number based on generalized patterns.
That approach can break down when:
- The crash details are still disputed. In Mansfield area incidents—whether at intersections, on Route 30 corridors, or near highways—fault is often contested.
- Causation is not straightforward. Delays between injury and death, pre-existing conditions, or complications can require medical record review.
- Insurance adjusters treat “early numbers” differently. An AI output does not account for what the defense will argue, what documentation exists, or whether the case is likely to settle or proceed.
In other words: an AI tool may help you ask better questions, but it can’t evaluate what Ohio courts and juries typically look for when determining liability and damages.
