In Ocean City, incidents don’t happen in a vacuum. A calculator can’t account for details like:
- Whether a crash occurred during peak beach access hours (when visibility and stopping distances become contested)
- How crosswalks, signals, and signage were positioned or functioning at the time
- Whether a driver had reason to anticipate pedestrians near entertainment areas or boardwalk-adjacent routes
- Whether a business or venue had reasonable crowd-safety measures in place
That matters because wrongful death value depends on what can be proven—not just on how much time has passed or how much money the family needs right now.
