Most AI calculators try to convert a few inputs into a generic figure. That can be emotionally tempting, but for Chelsea cases, the real question is usually more specific:
- Was the fatal incident caused by conduct that Massachusetts courts recognize as wrongful?
- Is causation disputed (for example, whether the death resulted from the incident versus complications)?
- How strong is the documentation (police reports, EMS timelines, surveillance, traffic-control details, maintenance records)?
- Will fault be shared? In urban accident cases, insurers often argue comparative fault to reduce payouts.
A calculator can’t review the incident record, identify missing evidence, or evaluate how a Massachusetts adjuster is likely to frame the case.
