Most AI tools work like a guess engine. They translate a few inputs (age, income, relationship) into a range. That can feel useful—especially when you’re overwhelmed—but these tools generally miss what matters most in real Boston claims:
- Massachusetts-specific claim structure and the types of damages that must be tied to the evidence.
- Causation disputes (for example, when defense argues the death resulted from something other than the incident).
- Liability complexity common in urban cases—shared fault, multiple actors, and contributory conduct arguments.
- Insurance posture and documentation: what was recorded at the scene, what was preserved, and what reports actually say.
A calculator can be a starting point for questions. It can’t replace a lawyer’s evaluation of what can be proven.
