In El Dorado, many serious incidents involve commuting corridors, intersections, and highway access where fault can hinge on details like speed, lane position, traffic-control compliance, and driver distraction. AI tools typically don’t have the ability to interpret those facts the way a Kansas case requires.
Even if an online tool offers a “range,” it can’t account for:
- what responding reports actually say (or leave out),
- whether evidence supports causation under Kansas standards,
- how comparative-fault arguments may be developed,
- what’s provable with photos, witness statements, dashcam/video, or vehicle data.
The result is that a calculator may produce a comforting number that doesn’t reflect how insurers in our area evaluate risk.
