In the real world, the “inputs” to an AI tool can be missing or incomplete—particularly in cases that involve:
- Commuter and traffic collisions where fault turns on speed, braking distance, lighting, and witness accounts
- Work-zone or equipment-related deaths where documentation (training, maintenance, safety procedures) is central
- Tourism and seasonal travel events where multiple parties and rental/transport arrangements can complicate liability
AI tools may generate a range, but they typically can’t properly account for:
- disputed causation (what actually caused the death)
- credibility issues in police reports or witness statements
- insurance coverage questions (who is insured, what policies apply, and what exclusions matter)
- the defense’s litigation posture once they see your evidence
