Online tools may ask for basic details—age, relationship, medical bills, and “what happened”—and then spit out a range. The problem is that wrongful death disputes in practice usually hinge on details that AI can’t properly evaluate, such as:
- Whether a Georgia jury would accept causation in your specific fact pattern (not just a “typical” one)
- What the other side says happened—and whether their version matches reports, data, or witness statements
- How quickly key proof becomes unavailable (for example, surveillance footage, scene evidence, or vehicle data)
- Policy and coverage issues that determine what an insurance company is willing to pay
In other words, an AI tool can’t “see” your police report, interpret crash reconstruction materials, review medical causation, or assess evidentiary credibility. Those are the factors that shape what negotiations can realistically support.
