In Venice, many serious incidents don’t look like a simple “one crash, one outcome” situation. A few factors commonly change the case value—and an AI tool generally can’t account for them accurately:
- Complex fault in traffic incidents (lane changes, turning vehicles, crosswalk activity, speed, and distractions)
- Causation when injuries worsen later (a death that follows complications, delayed diagnoses, or progressive trauma)
- Insurance posture and coverage questions (whether the at-fault party is insured, underinsured, or disputes responsibility)
- Documentation quality (what police reports and medical records actually show, and what’s missing)
So while a calculator may generate a “range,” the real settlement number depends on evidence and legal proof—not just inputs.
