When someone dies, the “number question” is usually shorthand for several urgent concerns:
- Will we be able to cover funeral and related expenses right away?
- Who might be responsible—a driver, property owner, employer, contractor, or manufacturer?
- How do insurance companies value a fatal claim when liability is disputed?
- What losses count in Florida when the decedent supported a household, had medical needs, or left behind dependents?
An AI tool may give a range, but it typically can’t account for what matters most in real negotiations: how liability is supported by reports and records, how causation is proven, and whether the defense will challenge the scope of losses.
