Many AI tools generate a range using simplified assumptions—age, income category, and incident type. That’s not useless, but it can be misleading when the case turns on issues that calculators can’t properly evaluate, such as:
- Florida fault disputes (for example, contested lane changes, speeding allegations, or whether a driver acted reasonably)
- Causation questions (whether injuries led to death immediately or after complications)
- Insurance coverage details (who is insured, what policies apply, and what limits may control)
- Scene evidence quality (video, witness identification, traffic-camera retention, skid data, and documentation timing)
In other words: an AI estimate may look precise, while the real outcome is shaped by what can be proven.
