After a death caused by another party, families often look for a quick number. AI tools may generate a range based on inputs like age, medical expenses, and relationship to the deceased.
But in real Sierra Madre cases, the settlement value usually turns on details that an online calculator can’t fully see—such as:
- How the incident happened (speed, lane position, visibility, signal timing)
- Whether there were multiple contributing factors (driver behavior, roadway conditions, vehicle maintenance)
- What early evidence still exists (photos, witness accounts, event data)
- How California liability is likely to be argued (including comparative fault disputes)
AI can be a starting point for questions. It can’t evaluate whether the facts support liability strong enough to justify a serious demand.
