Online tools typically work by taking a few facts—age, relationship, medical expenses, and the general nature of the incident—and producing an “estimated range.” In practice, that output is only as reliable as the assumptions behind it.
In Chandler cases, the biggest limitation is usually case-specific proof:
- Who was at fault at the moment of impact (often highly contested in multi-vehicle crashes and intersection cases)
- What caused the fatal outcome (defenses may argue intervening medical factors or pre-existing conditions)
- Which expenses and losses are legally recoverable based on the surviving family members and the evidence available
An AI tool can be a starting point for questions. It cannot review the police report, medical causation, witness credibility, vehicle data, or the documents that typically decide settlement value.
