Most AI tools work by taking a few inputs (age, relationship, medical bills, income) and producing a broad range. That can be useful as a starting point—but it often fails where wrongful death cases in Alabama are most sensitive:
- Unclear fault after fatal traffic incidents, especially when witness accounts conflict or reports are incomplete.
- Causation disputes in serious injury events—where the defense argues the death was caused by something other than the alleged wrongdoing.
- Insurance and policy issues that an AI calculator can’t evaluate (coverage limits, exclusions, and which parties are actually responsible).
- Inconsistent documentation—a common problem when families are focused on emergencies, travel, or coordinating with multiple providers.
In other words, an AI “range” may look confident, but it can’t review the evidence that drives a Jacksonville case toward a fair settlement.
