AI tools typically work like this: they ask for details about your injury and treatment, then generate a predicted range based on patterns from other cases. That can be useful for getting a rough sense of where your claim might land.
What AI usually can’t do is evaluate the things that heavily influence value in Texas disputes, such as:
- Whether your treating provider’s restrictions are clearly documented and consistent over time
- Whether you reached maximum medical improvement (MMI) (or are still in the middle of treatment)
- How your employer and carrier characterize the incident and your work capacity
- Whether wage loss is supported by the actual payroll record and work history
In other words, an AI estimate may look confident while missing the specific gaps that adjusters focus on in Texas.
