Most AI tools generate a range using simplified inputs—diagnosis, body part, missed time, and general treatment duration. That approach breaks down when your file includes factors that commonly matter in Texas workers’ compensation disputes, such as:
- Timing and documentation after the work injury (how quickly symptoms were reported and recorded)
- Whether your doctor’s notes clearly describe work restrictions and why they’re necessary
- The insurer’s interpretation of maximum medical improvement (MMI)—a key point that can shift negotiations
- Wage calculations that don’t reflect the way pay actually works (overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, or variable schedules)
In other words, the tool can produce an “answer,” but it can’t confirm whether your evidence supports the assumptions behind that answer.
