AI tools typically work by comparing your answers to patterns they’ve seen elsewhere. That can be helpful for orientation, but it often misses the details that matter most in Ohio:
- Ohio wage calculations depend on proof. If overtime, shift differentials, or irregular schedules aren’t documented clearly, an estimate can come out too low.
- Medical evidence is not interchangeable. Two people with the same diagnosis can have very different outcomes depending on imaging results, functional testing, and whether the record consistently supports work restrictions.
- Insurers treat uncertainty as leverage. If causation or maximum medical improvement (MMI) isn’t clearly established, the insurer may push for a lower resolution.
In other words: an AI range may look reasonable, but it can’t see the same evidence your adjuster sees—or the disputes your claim is likely to face.
