AI tools work by pattern-matching. That means they can be useful for understanding what kinds of facts might matter—but they’re not built to evaluate the evidence that controls your case.
In Ohio, settlement leverage tends to shift when the insurer challenges one or more of the following:
- Work-status facts (what you were doing right before the injury, whether you were released to return, and whether restrictions were followed)
- Consistency of the timeline (when symptoms were first reported versus what appears in the medical record)
- Functional limitations (what your treating provider documented you could and could not do)
- Causation disputes (how the insurer interprets preexisting conditions or prior complaints)
An AI calculator can’t verify whether your file contains the right restrictions, the right medical narrative, or the right wage proof for the periods you missed.
