Most AI tools are built to work with limited inputs. You type in an injury type, dates, and maybe a wage number—then the tool outputs a broad range based on patterns it has learned.
But in real Ohio workers’ comp files, value is often driven by details that don’t fit neatly into a calculator:
- Ohio claim timelines and documentation: Whether your medical records show a consistent story from the first visit onward.
- Causation disputes: Insurers sometimes question whether the work incident truly caused the condition—especially when there’s a gap between the event and treatment.
- Restrictions vs. real job duties: A doctor may write limits, but the insurer may argue you could still perform certain tasks.
- Wage proof: Overtime, shift changes, and irregular hours can be hard for a tool to model accurately.
An AI estimate can feel confident, but it typically can’t read the evidence that actually decides negotiations.
