Hopatcong residents often work in environments where incidents don’t always look “clean” on paper. Maybe the injury occurred during a quick task between meetings, during a shift that ran late, or while traveling between job locations. Those facts can matter when the insurer questions the timeline or the scope of the work impact.
AI tools typically take inputs like diagnosis, date of injury, and whether you missed time from work. The problem is that an estimate can’t:
- review the actual NJ medical timeline and consistency of treatment notes
- evaluate whether work restrictions were documented as part of the treating provider’s findings
- account for whether the insurer is likely to dispute causation, status (temporary vs. permanent), or wage loss
In other words: the calculator may generate a plausible number, but it can’t see how the claim file is likely to be argued.
