AI tools typically work by comparing your inputs (injury type, treatment timeline, work status) to patterns they’ve been trained on. That can create a range that looks reasonable.
But in real Montana claims—especially those involving job restrictions and wage calculations—the insurer’s evaluation is driven by items like:
- Whether the medical records clearly describe work limitations (not just symptoms)
- Whether your treatment timeline supports causation and progression
- How impairment or maximum medical improvement is handled
- Whether wage loss is supported by payroll records and work history
A calculator can’t confirm what your treating provider wrote, what the insurer accepted, or what issues may be heading toward dispute.
