Most AI settlement estimate tools do two things well:
- They translate your inputs into broad categories (injury type, treatment length, whether you missed work).
- They generate a range based on patterns seen in other cases.
Where these tools often fall short is Michigan-specific reality: outcomes depend on what your records prove and how the claim is handled over time. For example, an AI tool may not fully account for:
- whether your treating provider clearly documented work restrictions
- whether your wage loss is supported by pay history and job classification
- whether the insurer challenges causation or the extent of disability
- whether your case is headed toward negotiation or a more formal dispute path
In other words: the calculator may guess the shape of your case, but it can’t verify the details that decide the value.
