Most AI settlement calculators work by comparing your inputs to patterns from other files. That’s not automatically wrong, but it can be a poor fit in Cambridge because many workplace injuries here come with extra friction points that models can’t “see,” such as:
- Incident timing and reporting in a high-traffic environment (delays in documenting symptoms after a commute or shift)
- Multiple witnesses and overlapping operations near active construction, loading zones, or campus-adjacent workplaces
- Transportation-related confusion when the line between “work duty” and “commute” is disputed
- Medical continuity issues when appointments are scheduled around work and commuting demands
Even if your injury is real and medically supported, a calculator can’t measure how insurers in Massachusetts typically evaluate credibility, consistency, and documentation quality.
