Most AI “settlement calculators” work by taking a few inputs (injury type, body part, treatment, missed work) and mapping them to patterns from other cases. That can produce a number that feels reassuring.
But Rock Island workers’ comp disputes often hinge on information that isn’t captured by online forms, such as:
- Whether the injury is supported by early medical documentation (and whether the timeline matches your job duties)
- How your restrictions were described by your treating provider—especially if you work around machinery, lift loads, or return to physically demanding tasks
- Whether wage records and work capacity were accurately connected to what you could and couldn’t do after the injury
- Whether the insurer is contesting causation, impairment, or the extent of disability
In other words: an AI estimate may point you in the direction of the right categories, but it can’t authenticate your file.
