AI tools typically take the details you enter (injury type, treatment, time missed, and sometimes wage information) and map them to patterns. The result can look convincing because it’s presented like a range.
The problem is that Illinois claims turn on documentation and proof, not just medical labels. In Lombard workplaces—where many employees commute via busy corridors and return to shift work quickly—the insurer may focus on:
- Whether you reported symptoms consistently after the incident
- Whether your medical notes match the functional limits you claim
- Whether your wage loss is supported by payroll records and benefit history
- Whether the claim’s timeline aligns with what the employer reports
An AI calculator can’t review those “proof points.” It can’t confirm what your treating doctor actually wrote about restrictions, and it can’t anticipate how disputes may play out under Illinois procedure.
