Most AI-based calculators work like a “pattern matcher.” You enter information such as your diagnosis, date of injury, body part, treatment history, and time away from work. The tool then outputs an estimated range based on generalized similarities.
In Florida workers’ compensation, however, outcomes are heavily shaped by what the insurer can prove—or challenge—using your medical records, work restrictions, wage documentation, and the procedural posture of your claim.
An AI tool can’t:
- verify whether your medical notes consistently describe functional limits
- interpret the credibility of conflicting timelines
- confirm whether your treating physician’s restrictions align with your actual job duties
- predict how the insurer will handle disputed causation or maximum medical improvement
In other words, the tool may produce a number; it can’t produce a strategy.
