An AI tool is essentially pattern-matching. You enter information—injury date, body part, treatment, time missed from work, and sometimes your wage—and it returns a projected range.
The problem is that workers’ compensation in Florida is evidence-driven, and the “range” may not reflect what matters most in your specific file. For example, an estimate may not account for:
- Whether your doctor’s restrictions clearly connect to your functional limitations
- Whether your records show consistent treatment or gaps that insurers use to question severity
- How your employer and carrier framed the incident (especially if the event was reported quickly or inconsistently)
- Whether your claim is being pushed toward closure based on Florida workers’ comp procedures and medical milestones
In other words: an AI estimate can feel helpful, but it’s not a substitute for legal review of the actual claim record.
