Most online calculators work by taking your inputs (injury date, body part, time off work, treatment) and matching them to broad patterns. That’s not the same as reviewing what matters in Arkansas workers’ compensation.
In real cases, value shifts when:
- Your restrictions are unclear or inconsistent (for example, no documented limits tied to what you can safely do at work)
- The insurer argues the injury wasn’t work-related or that another condition explains your symptoms
- Your treatment timeline has gaps or doesn’t match what you told the adjuster
- Wage loss is hard to verify (common when overtime, shift changes, or variable hours affect pay)
If any of those issues show up in your file, a “range” from an AI or calculator may be too low—not because you did anything wrong, but because the tool can’t see how disputes are likely to play out.
