Many UM claims start with a “routine” drive—then quickly turn into a coverage and evidence problem. In the Tri-Cities area, common crash patterns include:
- High-speed commute collisions where fault is disputed later (even if you believe it’s clear)
- Turn-lane and lane-change incidents on busier corridors, where dashcam/video may be missing or overwritten
- Road construction and detours that change traffic flow and make the scene harder to document
- Hit-and-run situations that leave you with only vehicle descriptions, partial plate info, or limited witness accounts
In these scenarios, the UM claim hinges on two tracks at once: (1) what happened in the crash and (2) whether your injuries and losses fit what your policy covers.
