Many uninsured motorist issues in our area aren’t about “mystery accidents.” They’re about the reality of who’s on the road and how incidents unfold:
- Commuters and shift workers on tight schedules may drive distracted or fail to yield—then later it turns out the other driver’s coverage is limited or unavailable.
- Road changes and heavy traffic corridors can make fault disputes escalate quickly. Even when the police report seems clear, insurers may argue “comparative fault” to reduce what they owe.
- Out-of-area drivers (including visitors passing through) can make it harder to confirm insurance status right away, especially when witnesses are limited.
When the other driver can’t pay, your own policy becomes the battleground. That’s where strategy matters.
