AI tools typically use simplified inputs (like injury severity and treatment duration) to generate a range. That can be helpful as a starting point. The problem is that Vancouver truck crashes often involve evidence that doesn’t fit the tool’s “average” assumptions, such as:
- Complex fault involving a trucking company and the driver (not just one at-fault person)
- Maintenance or inspection issues that don’t become obvious until records are obtained
- Causation disputes—insurers may argue your symptoms were caused by something else or worsened later
- Ongoing treatment that develops after the initial crash, when it’s too late to recreate the full story
In other words, an AI estimate can’t see what a claim file can: the crash report, scene documentation, medical timeline, and the credibility of each explanation.
