Most AI or online calculators work by asking you to enter details about injuries and expenses, then applying generic ranges. That can be useful for rough budgeting.
But trucking claims in Washington often hinge on details that a calculator can’t reliably account for, such as:
- Disputed liability (for example, whether a truck driver made a safe turn/merge, or whether another driver’s actions triggered the incident)
- Maintenance and log evidence that only surfaces after requests and investigation
- Causation challenges—insurers may claim your symptoms are unrelated, pre-existing, or not tied to the specific crash
- Documentation gaps (delayed treatment, missing imaging, incomplete work notes)
In other words: even the “best” estimate is only as good as the facts behind it—and real settlement negotiations are built on records.
