AI tools typically generate a range using general injury categories (medical costs, lost wages, and pain-and-suffering). That’s helpful for understanding the types of damages. It’s less reliable for predicting the actual settlement, because truck claims hinge on details such as:
- Which roadway conditions were involved (traffic flow, turning lanes, visibility, weather)
- Whether the crash report supports your version of events
- How quickly treatment was sought after the collision
- What the trucking company’s records show (maintenance, logs, policies)
- Whether liability is shared between driver and company
In other words: the calculator may produce a starting point, but it can’t verify whether your case will be treated as a clear-liability wreck or a contested truck claim.
