Most AI calculators work by using inputs such as injury severity, treatment length, and reported losses. That can produce a rough range for economic damages (like medical costs and lost income) and sometimes non-economic impacts (like pain and limitations).
In real trucking cases, especially those that involve multiple potential responsible parties, a tool can’t reliably account for issues like:
- disputes over who caused the crash (driver vs. trucking company vs. maintenance)
- missing or inconsistent medical records
- insurer arguments that injuries were pre-existing or unrelated
- evidence that supports— or undermines—future limitations
A number can help you ask better questions. It can’t replace the legal work needed to test whether the insurer’s story matches the facts.
