Many AI-style tools ask questions about your injuries and losses and then generate a range. That can be useful if you’re trying to understand the types of damages that may apply.
In practice, though, calculators usually struggle with the issues that commonly decide outcomes in real trucking cases, such as:
- Whether the medical records clearly connect your injuries to the collision (especially when symptoms evolve over days)
- How insurers interpret treatment gaps or delayed referrals
- Whether fault is shared between a driver, the trucking company, or maintenance/inspection contractors
- What New Mexico adjusters require for documentation before they move beyond an early low offer
A calculator may produce a number. Your attorney’s job is to confirm the number matches your evidence—and to challenge any offer that doesn’t.
