An AI tool may ask a handful of questions (injury type, treatment length, medical bills) and then generate a range. That can be helpful when you’re trying to calm the “what will happen next?” feeling.
But the settlement value in a truck case depends on details that AI calculators typically can’t verify, such as:
- How Massachusetts fault rules interact with your facts (comparative fault arguments are common in injury claims)
- Whether the crash report and scene evidence support your version of events
- Documentation quality—for example, how consistently treatment notes tie symptoms to the collision
- Trucking-company records that may explain brake maintenance, scheduling decisions, or driver compliance
If liability is disputed, insurers often use uncertainty as leverage. That’s where a generic estimate can mislead you.
