AI calculators typically work by asking you to describe what happened and what losses you’ve experienced. Based on that information, the tool may generate a range for damages.
That can be useful if you’re trying to understand which categories of loss matter most (medical costs, lost income, and impact on daily life). Still, an AI estimate is only a starting point. It can’t:
- confirm the cause of the crash from real-world evidence
- account for Maryland-specific dispute realities (like how causation is contested)
- evaluate how insurers may challenge your medical timeline
- predict what a settlement negotiation will look like once liability is developed
In other words: it may tell you what numbers could look like, but it can’t tell you what your case should be worth.
