A calculator can’t review the parts of your case that insurance companies focus on in practice, including:
- Whether the crash was avoidable based on roadway conditions and driving patterns common to the area (turning movements, merge behavior, and stop-and-go congestion).
- Which party is actually responsible when a commercial driver, trucking company, or maintenance vendor may share blame.
- What Illinois insurers require to move from an early offer to a meaningful settlement, especially once they request medical documentation and recorded statements.
In other words, an estimate may give you a starting range, but it can’t tell you whether your evidence supports that number.
