Most online tools work by collecting basic information—what happened, what injuries you have, and what losses you’re facing—then producing a rough range. That can be helpful if you’re trying to get your bearings.
But a calculator can’t fully account for what often matters most in Illinois trucking cases, such as:
- Whether liability is disputed (common when the crash happens at a busy turn or merge)
- How your medical timeline is interpreted by adjusters
- Whether evidence supports causation—especially if symptoms changed after the initial visit
- Comparative fault arguments that insurers may raise to reduce payouts
In other words, a number from an AI tool is not the same thing as a demand backed by records.
