Most AI calculators work by asking you questions like:
- where the injury falls on the severity spectrum
- how long treatment lasted
- whether you missed work
- what kinds of losses you’re claiming
That can produce a rough range. However, in truck cases—particularly those tied to commercial operations—many claims rise or fall based on details the calculator can’t “see,” such as:
- whether liability is disputed (often the case)
- whether your medical records match the crash timeline
- whether the trucking company’s logs, maintenance history, or policies create stronger fault arguments
In other words: an AI tool can help you organize categories of loss, but it cannot confirm that your evidence supports them.
