AI-based calculators generally work by asking for inputs (injury type, treatment, lost income, and sometimes general pain-and-suffering assumptions). They may provide a range, but they cannot:
- confirm who caused the crash based on Florida evidence rules and trucking documentation
- evaluate whether the medical record supports causation (injuries being “connected” to the crash)
- account for local dispute patterns—like insurers challenging the seriousness of soft-tissue injuries or delaying acceptance of later symptoms
- adjust for case-specific issues common in commercial driving claims, such as maintenance gaps, driver log disputes, or cargo/inspection problems
In other words: an estimate can suggest categories, but it can’t replace a case review grounded in records.
