Most AI tools produce a range using simplified inputs—injury severity, treatment length, and categories of losses. That can be useful for a rough starting point.
But an AI model won’t know whether:
- the crash happened in a traffic pattern common to island commuting (sudden merges, limited sightlines, slow-moving congestion)
- the truck’s routing or scheduling created pressure that impacted safe operation
- scene evidence is still available (or has already been lost due to weather, cleanup, or moving traffic control)
- your injuries match the specific mechanism of impact described in the crash report
In real cases, settlement value depends on whether the insurance company believes the evidence tells a consistent story—who caused the collision, what injuries resulted, and why the treatment was medically necessary.
