On paper, calculators look simple: enter injury severity, treatment timeline, and expenses, and get an estimated range. In practice, trucking claims are frequently shaped by issues that AI tools can’t verify—such as:
- Causation disputes tied to roadway conditions and sight lines on mountain routes
- Evidence gaps after the scene is cleared (photos, vehicle data, witness statements)
- Medical causation arguments (what was injured, when it was diagnosed, and how treatment progressed)
- Multiple parties (driver, trucking company, maintenance vendors, cargo-related responsibility)
So while an AI tool might generate a “ballpark,” it can’t confirm what an adjuster will accept—or what a jury would believe—based on the actual proof in your file.
