Most AI-style tools work by taking your answers and mapping them to common loss categories (medical care, lost income, and non-economic harm). That can be useful if you’re trying to gauge the range of what a claim might involve.
But a calculator can’t:
- Verify whether the truck driver’s actions were the actual cause of the collision.
- Account for California-specific disputes over causation (whether injuries were caused or worsened by the crash).
- Review the credibility of your medical timeline versus what an insurer may argue.
- Obtain and interpret trucking records that can change the entire fault picture.
In other words: treat an estimate like a starting point—not like a prediction.
