Most AI tools work like a “damage worksheet.” You enter details such as:
- the type of injuries and how long you were treated
- medical bills and ongoing care
- time away from work
- general descriptions of pain and limitations
In return, you may get a rough range or a checklist of categories.
What it can’t do:
- confirm whether your injuries were caused by the crash (causation is often disputed)
- predict how an adjuster will treat missing records, gaps in treatment, or pre-existing conditions
- evaluate trucking-specific issues like maintenance problems, driver log compliance, or third-party responsibility
- account for California’s claim-handling realities, including how insurers push early settlement offers before your medical picture is clear
In short: a calculator can help you organize, but it can’t replace case evaluation.
