Most online tools estimate value using inputs like injury severity, treatment duration, and lost income. That can be useful as a starting point.
However, truck cases are rarely “plug-and-play.” In practice, adjusters focus on questions like:
- whether the medical treatment is reasonable and necessary
- whether your symptoms are consistent with the crash
- whether liability is truly clear, or shared among multiple parties
- whether the truck operator, carrier, or maintenance process played a role
In other words, a calculator might produce a range—but it can’t review your records, evaluate causation, or predict how California insurers will argue about fault.
