Many online tools ask for your injury details and attempt to produce a range. That can be useful if you’re trying to understand which categories often matter in a claim (medical care, lost income, and limitations on daily life).
However, a calculator typically cannot:
- Confirm which driver or company is actually at fault in a trucking crash
- Evaluate whether insurers will challenge causation (for example, whether symptoms are tied to the collision)
- Account for California-specific negotiation realities, such as how comparative fault arguments are raised when liability is disputed
- Replace the need to review your medical records, treatment timeline, and documentation quality
In other words, a tool can estimate categories. Your case is worth what those categories can be proven to be.
