Most online calculators use simplified categories and averages. That can be helpful for organizing questions—but it usually can’t account for the details that make or break TBI cases in South Texas.
In practice, adjusters often scrutinize things like:
- Where the impact happened (high-traffic commuting corridors vs. low-speed areas)
- Whether the event involved a fast stop, rear-end crash, or side impact
- How quickly symptoms were documented after the incident
- Whether follow-up care continued long enough to establish a consistent injury picture
- How cognitive symptoms affected work schedules, daily responsibilities, and reliability
If your medical record shows ongoing neuro symptoms, your claim may be valued differently than a case where symptoms resolved quickly or weren’t consistently treated.
