Think of an AI tool like a question organizer, not an answer key.
A calculator-style program may prompt you to enter details such as:
- the type of incident (rear-end crash, fall, workplace event)
- the symptoms you experienced (headaches, dizziness, memory problems, mood changes)
- how quickly you sought treatment
- what providers recommended (imaging, concussion follow-up, therapy)
That can be useful—particularly if your symptoms affect focus or memory and you need structure.
But the number an AI produces is not your settlement. In Hammond and across Indiana, adjusters still evaluate claims based on:
- medical documentation and consistency
- whether the incident is linked to the symptoms
- how long symptoms lasted and whether they required ongoing care
- whether the other party’s liability is supported by reports, witnesses, and records
